The first emperor: chapter seven " Qin shi huang di's Death"

212BC 35 years after he came to the throne Ying Zheng embarks another imperial tour but this one is different. Where once there was a prosperous and powerful nation today the nation rots. The land is starved of labor for the emperors great projects, famine looms and there is nothing anyone can do. The emperors obsession with immortality is upper most on his mind.

On the 10th month of 210BC the emperor Ying Zheng is out of his mind, and while he plays the world of his own. His advisers planned what to do with his empire once his poison body ways to his poisoned mind, they know it wont be long. With Li Si is the emperors second son Ho Hai. Ho Hai is not the emperors first choice to succeeds him, but the emperor would not live forever and Li Si  had planned to change the succession. Returning from  his journey Ying Zheng become so ill and hurried back to his capital but the imperial convoy has stopped on his tracts. On the 7th month of 210BC his journey is over. And the search of immortality had ended the great empire has lost its maker. At the age of 50 Qin shi huang di (Ying Zheng) is dead.
